anyone seen this on a female Broad Bodied Chaser? she seems to have a 'split' which assists in cooling/breathing? please add comments. 

when is the best time to observe butterflies? early in the morning as the sun rises is my choice. it's then that you get the wings closed to wings open shot and of course there's no mad flitting around until things warm up a bit
